Every chapter provided scientific information explaining the causes of, and solutions for the different hormonal imbalances that most women encounter over the course of their lives. I found Vitti’s book to be very educational.
#ALISA VITTI MANUAL#
Think of Woman Code as a manual for easy living-at least that’s how I thought of it. The ‘Woman Code’ is the expanded explanation of a brand new way of life, that gives women the keys by which to unlock new dimensions of their health.Īs far as Vitti is concerned, all we need as women is to learn the four phases of our cycle because once we do, we’ll understand how we can mindfully provide the nutrition and exercise tools that are in sync with the current state of our bodies, reducing stress and alleviating the normalized symptoms of womanhood. We’re raised to accept and normalize a continuous hindrance in every aspect of our lives, simply because we are women.īut Vitti has practically dedicated her life to breaking this misconception and showing women that it really doesn’t have to be this way. Most women within childbearing years have the misconception (which I genuinely didn’t know was a misconception) that the pain they so often live with is natural and normal-be it extreme PMS, extremely painful periods, or month-long, year-long fatigue. Woman Code is Vitti’s guide for a renewed definition of female health. Having received her degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I think its safe to say Vitti knows what she’s talking about. After struggling with hormonal imbalances herself, Vitti finally founded the FLO Living Center in Manhattan, where she meets with and counsels women on their journey towards healthy and balanced living, through non-drug, 100% natural methods.

About the authorĪlissa Vitti is a Holistic Health counselor in the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (HHC, AADP).

The title of the podcast- How Women’s Hormones are our Greatest High Performance Hack with Alisa Viiti-followed by the title of Vitti’s book, Woman Code, caught my attention in an instant, and I devoured the book like a lion. Because ever since I was doctor-prescribed certain changes in my lifestyle, I’ve been extremely interested in all things health and nutrition.
#ALISA VITTI DOWNLOAD#
I listened to Sunny Lenarduzi’s podcast interview with Alisa Vitti (Episode 117) a few weeks ago, and I immediately hopped over to download Woman Code on kindle. Slowly but surely, I started regaining control over my life. All I needed was education on the cause of my symptoms, and some changes in my lifestyle. In December of 2019 I finally discovered that the cause of all my prior months of agony was a very common hormonal imbalance that I thankfully do not have to live with.

Until, finally, my mom suggest we go see an OBGYN. So, as you can imagine, my declined physical health led to my declined psychological health (and vice versa), and there genuinely didn’t seem to be a single ray of light at the end of the tunnel. It had been months since I’d worked out, and I was gaining weight completely disproportionally to how much I was eating.Įverything about me was out of whack, and I lacked the basic energy and willpower to do anything about it. I couldn’t spend time in a well-lit room (in fact, I spent most of my time lying in bed with the lights completely off). My lowest point in terms of my health lasted for the entirety of 2019, and I spent months upon months trying to figure out what in the world was wrong with me.Įvery inch of my body ached 100% of the time. Over the last couple of years I’ve been learning a lot about my body. I just finished Alisa Vitti’s Woman Code, and can finally give you my honest opinion about it.
